The Ace Lab : Model

A fixed facility is overhead. Overhead needs volume to justify itself, and volume means the work has to fit the facility, not the other way around. Most companies own one workshop, work in one material, with one set of machines. That infrastructure has to stay busy, so the brief gets shaped around what the workshop can do rather than what the piece actually needs.

We are built differently. The Ace Lab is a network of specialist makers: the Aces. Each one is the right person for a specific material or process, running their own suite of resources, and each one gets brought onto a project because the work calls for exactly what they do best.

Digital Aces who resolve a form into a buildable model, engineered before a single component is made. Bronze and aluminium casters who take that model through lost wax or sand casting: pattern, mould, pour, finish. Stainless steel fabricators who build precisely to the drawing and chase a weld to be seamless. Crane operators who can land that finished work on a pin.

These aren't names off a procurement portal. They're people we've worked with across years and multiple projects. By the time an Ace arrives on the project there's no warm up, no guessing, no surprise about what they will or won't do. That kind of trust only comes from having done the work together before, and it means the project moves as it should from day one.

The client deals with us. We coordinate every Ace on the job, every material, every stage. Practical Completion is one event: not one per specialist, not one per piece. A complete turn key solution, start to finish, through a single point of contact.
